I’m having an issue with my printer that’s become quite frustrating and I’m hoping someone can help. My printer suddenly stopped working with my Windows 10 PC. It was functioning perfectly before and I haven’t knowingly made any changes to the system.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Checked the connection: The USB is securely connected and the printer is turned on.
- Drivers: I downloaded and installed the latest drivers from the manufacturer’s website, but no luck.
- Restarted both the printer and the computer multiple times.
- Updated Windows to the latest version hoping it might resolve any conflict, but nothing changed.
- Checked the printer queue; nothing seems to be stuck, and I have cleared it multiple times.
- Troubleshooter: Ran the Windows Troubleshooter for printers, and it kept suggesting updating drivers, which I have already done.
The printer is being detected by the PC, but whenever I try to print, nothing happens—no error messages or anything. It just seems like the print job vanishes.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice for further troubleshooting steps or something I might be missing? Appreciate any help!
