I’ve been running into some really frustrating network issues on my Windows 10 PC lately. Every so often, my computer randomly disconnects from Wi-Fi, and it takes multiple attempts to reconnect. Sometimes, the network icon in the taskbar shows as connected, but websites won’t load, and pinging any IP results in a timeout.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Restarting the router and modem.
- Running the Windows Network Troubleshooter (it usually just resets the adapter or says it can’t find the problem).
- Reinstalling and updating the network adapter drivers.
- Flushing DNS and resetting TCP/IP settings using Command Prompt.
- Changing the DNS settings to Google’s DNS.
Despite all this, the problem persists. I don’t experience this issue on other devices connected to the same network. Could it be some Windows-specific setting I overlooked? Any suggestions on what might be wrong or what else I could try? Thanks in advance for any help!
