I've been experiencing issues with Windows Explorer crashing frequently on my Windows 7 machine. It seems to happen randomly, especially when I'm trying to access certain folders or open files. The screen flickers, and sometimes I'm left with just the desktop background until Explorer restarts itself. This is getting really frustrating, and it's affecting my productivity.
I've tried scanning for viruses and malware, but everything seems clean. I also tried running the system file checker using "sfc /scannow," which reported some issues but couldn't fix all of them. Unfortunately, the crashes persist.
Has anyone else experienced this, and are there any known fixes? I'd appreciate some guidance on what else I might try to resolve this issue. Thanks!
