I've been trying to get my old CMI8738 C3DX audio device working on a Windows 8.1 machine, but I'm having trouble finding a compatible driver. This sound card used to work perfectly on my previous setup, but ever since I upgraded, I can't seem to get the audio to work. I've checked the OEM website, but they don't seem to have updated drivers for Windows 8.1 or later. Has anyone here managed to get this sound card to work on Windows 8.1, or have suggestions on what might solve this issue? Any alternative driver suggestions that might be compatible or possible workarounds to get this functional again? Thanks in advance for any help!
