I'm trying to find a way to download a legitimate copy of Windows 7. I've read that Microsoft has stopped offering downloads directly for it since they're moving forward with Windows 10 and 11. Is there a legal way to get Windows 7, perhaps for an older device that doesn't support newer versions of Windows? Also, if I find an ISO or installation media, what steps should I take to validate it and ensure it's safe to use? Any help with navigating through this would be appreciated.
