  • Add Drivers to Acronis Bootable Media

I'm trying to create a custom Acronis bootable media and need to include additional drivers for it to recognize all the hardware on my machine, particularly the network and storage controllers which aren't supported by default. How do I integrate these drivers into the Acronis bootable media craetoin process? Additionally, are there specific formats or driver types that I should be using (e.g., INF files)? Any guidance on troubleshooting steps if the media still doesn't recognize the hardware after adding the drivers would also be helpful.

Integrating drivers into your Acronis bootable media isn't too tricky. Start by ensuring that the drivers you're adding are in INF format, as this is typically required. You'll want to use the 'Media Builder' tool to add these drivers during the creation process. There should be an option to 'Add drivers', where you can select and include the necessary INF files.

If the device still isn’t recognized after this, double check that you've got the correct version of the driver for your hardware and operating system. Sometimes it feels like trying to obtain a cat to walk on a leash, but with a bit of patience and possibly trying different driver versions, it should eventually work out!

Remember, persistence is key!
