How To Install Old MS Messenger On Windows 10 Mobile

I've been facing some challenges with the new Messenger app released by Facebook on my Windows 10 Mobile. It's noticeably slow, freqeuntly crashes, and seems to drain the battery much faster than I'd like. Given these issues, I started thinking about alternatives and remembered how well the older version from Windows Phone 8.1 used to work. Does anyone know if there's a way to install that version of Messenger on my Lumia 650? Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
