I'm encountering an issue while trying to perform a clean installation of Windows 11 from a USB drive. During the installation process, I receive an error message stating, "A media driver your computer needs is missing." This occurs right after I boot from the USB and start the setup.
Here's what I've tried so far:
- I checked the integrity of the Windows 11 ISO file before creating the bootable USB.
- I used different software tools like Rufus and the Windows Media Creation Tool for creating the bootable drive.
- I changed USB ports, alternating between USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports on my computer.
- Updated BIOS to ensure compatibility and reset to default settings.
Despite these efforts, the problem persists. The hardware configuration involves a relatively new laptop with secure boot enabled and UEFI firmware settings.
Does anyone own insights on how this issue can be resolved or if there are specific drivers that need to be loaded manually during installation? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
