Just discovered this cool trick with virtual desktops - anyone else using it like this?
Hey everyone! So, I’ve been tinkering with Windows 11’s virtual desktops, and I stumbled upon a pretty sweet way to use them that’s made my workflow so much smoother. I’m curious if anyone else is doing something similar or has other tricks to share!
Basically, I set up different virtual desktops dedicated to specific tasks. For instance, I have one for work, where all my productivity apps like Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Outlook are open. Then, I have another desktop purely for creative work with photo or video editing software, and another one for personal stuff like browsing and social media.
Here’s the kicker - I found that I could assign unique wallpapers to each desktop, which visually cues me into ‘task mode’ immediately. It’s kind of like walking into a different room with a specific vibe. Also, using gestures or shortcuts to switch between them feels super intuitive.
Anyone else using virtual desktops in a unique way, or have advice on how to make it even better? Would love to hear your setups and any tips on optimizing this feature!
