Hello everyone,
I recently upgraded my PC from Windows 10 to Windows 11 but have encountered some unexpected compatibility issues with some of my critical applications and peripherals. I’m considering reverting back to Windows 10 to regain full functionality.
I am aware that I can use the “Go back to Windows 10” option in the Settings menu under “Recovery,” but I’ve read that this option is only available within 10 days after upgrading. Unfortunately, I am past this window.
I would like to discuss the best method for reverting to Windows 10 outside the 10-day limitation, ensuring minimal data loss and preserving application settings as much as possible. Has anyone had success with alternative approaches, such as performing a clean installation while backing up user data and applications, or leveraging system image backups?
Furthermore, I’d appreciate any insights into the potential impacts on system files, activation status, and driver compatibility when downgrading from Windows 11 to Windows 10.
Thank you in advance for your contributions and experiences.
