So, here we are in the golden age of Windows 11 22H2, where apparently Microsoft’s quest is to make our taskbars and context menus as skinny and smooth as AI-generated butter. But I was wondering: did anyone discover the SECRET setting where the Windows Update actually asks you when to restart, instead of ambushing you while you’re microwaving your coffee for the fourth time?
Also, has anyone noticed how the new default wallpaper is so bright it doubles as a flashlight during a power outage, or is that just me leaning too close to the monitor because the system tray icons are approximately the size of amoebas now?
Lastly - what do we all think the most completely unnecessary UI tweak is? Snap layouts popping up when I’m just trying to drag a window? “Recommended” files in the Start Menu that I definitely didn’t ask for and might even involve embarrassing selfies? Or maybe the magical disappearing right-click options that keep my mouse hand guessing for sport?
Would love to hear your stories and sarcasm. Maybe together we’ll find that Easter egg where Task Manager becomes self-aware and refuses to close Edge.
