Does anyone else feel personally victimized by the Microsoft Solitaire Collection on Windows 10, or is it just me?
I just wanted to play a single round of classic Solitaire, maybe relive some early 2000s nostalgia. Instead, I’ve been ambushed by glowing buttons asking me to log in, daily challenges (because apparently Solitaire is now an eSport?), coins, XP-just missing a battle pass at this point. Did Solitaire go to some sort of gaming bootcamp and come back with a midlife crisis?
Also, why does it insist on giving me a pop-up if I dare go offline? Sorry I’m not always connected to the Matrix, Microsoft. And don’t get me started on the ads. You’d think flipping over the ace of spades would at least warrant a free ad skip.
Am I missing a secret setting to make it just Solitaire? And before anyone asks, yes, I’m too stubborn to download a third-party version. Has anyone found a way to tone down the chaos, or is the only solution to develop inner peace and block pop-ups like a digital ninja?
