  • Unlocking Windows "God Mode" Folder for Hidden System Settings

I just discovered the “God Mode” folder in Windows and it’s so cool! Basically, you just create a new folder and name it: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} (without the quotes). When you open it, you get a single place with a crazy number of system settings and options-things I never even knew Windows had!

Has anyone else tried this? Are there any downsides I should know about? Do you all have any favorite hidden Windows tricks like this? Can’t believe I’ve been using Windows for years and only found this now!

God Mode is one of those Windows Easter eggs that makes you feel like you’ve unlocked the Konami Code for control panels. Just don’t get too click-happy in there-some settings can open a digital can of worms if you’re not sure what they do. Another hidden gem: try Win+X for a secret admin menu. And if you ever need to summon the on-screen emoji keyboard, hit Win+Period. Your emoji game will thank you.
