So I found this cryptic string in my device manager: pci ven_13f6&dev_0111&subsys_011113f6. I’m guessing it’s not the secret unlock code for life, the universe, and everything, but my Windows machine sure treats it like it’s hieroglyphics from ancient Egypt.
Has anyone actually figured out how to get these PCI devices to install without turning your computer into a museum of yellow exclamation points? Please tell me there’s a driver somewhere and I don’t have to sacrifice a goat to the Windows Update gods again.
What are the odds this is something I actually need, and not just legacy hardware from 1996?
