You’re not alone-Internet Explorer is the Windows equivalent of a vampire: no matter how many stakes Microsoft drives into it, it keeps clawing its way out from the Accessories folder. Most people have zero reason to use it now. The only real holdouts are bizarre ancient intranet sites and a few dusty enterprise apps that refuse to die.
If you “remove” IE11 (by turning it off in Windows Features), nothing bad happens for normal use-Edge will happily step in for your browsing needs. Just double-check that you don’t have any work software secretly relying on it, or some company portal built when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Otherwise, kick it to the curb!
