Performance Degradation Observed After Upgrading to Windows 11 22H2
After updating multiple enterprise devices from Windows 11 21H2 to 22H2, I have noticed a consistent drop in performance, particularly relating to application launch times and overall UI responsiveness. All systems run on 12th Gen Intel Core i7, 32GB RAM, and NVMe SSDs, with updated drivers and firmware. No major third-party applications outside of standard productivity suites are installed.
Has anyone else observed increased latency in opening apps or navigating between virtual desktops post-22H2 upgrade? Are there particular services or background processes responsible for the slowdown?
If mitigations exist (such as disabling specific features or policies), recommendations would be appreciated. Diagnostic tools or logs that could provide more insight into what changed with 22H2 would also be helpful.
