So, I finally caved and joined the Windows Insider Program because who doesn’t want to be a guinea pig for features that may or may not break your entire system? Yesterday, my PC updated itself (mid-Zoom call, bless its timing), and now my taskbar is apparently practicing social distancing from my mouse clicks. The Start menu opened… somewhere, just not on my screen.
Anyone else riding the emotional rollercoaster that is the Dev Channel? Are there any secret handshakes or support groups I need to know about? Pro tips for surviving the constant barrage of updates before my laptop achieves true sentience? Or should I just accept my fate and get really, really good at troubleshooting?
