Don’t forget to double-click and peek inside any mystery drives-sometimes you’ll find important stuff (recovery partitions, backup files, installer setups) that Windows just decided to hide in plain sight. And if in doubt, pop open Disk Management (Windows Key + X > Disk Management)-it shows you which drive is which, their sizes, and even labels like “System,” “Recovery,” or “Removable.” If you see a drive with a name like “Windows” or “System Reserved,” hands off! But if it’s clearly your USB or an obviously empty extra partition, you’re probably safe. Still, better paranoid than data-less: back up anything you even sort-of might need before you start nuking drives!
