Don’t forget to double-click and peek inside any mystery drives—sometimes you’ll find important stuff (recovery partitions, backup files, installer setups) that Windows just decided to hide in plain sight. And if in doubt, pop open Disk Management (Windows Key + X > Disk Management)—it shows you which drive is which, their sizes, and even labels like “System,” “Recovery,” or “Removable.” If you see a drive with a name like “Windows” or “System Reserved,” hands off! But if it’s clearly your USB or an obviously empty extra partition, you’re probably safe. Still, better paranoid than data-less: back up anything you even sort-of might need before you start nuking drives!
