Office 2016 on Windows 11

So, I decided to combine the relic that is Office 2016 with the dazzling, futuristic Windows 11—because apparently I enjoy living on the bleeding edge of outdated software. Has anyone else noticed that this vintage Office seems to have a serious identity crisis on Windows 11, or is it just my computer determined to remind me that I’m stuck in the past? Any tips for coaxing these two into a harmonious relationship before my migraine sets in would be greatly appreciated. Apparently, using technology like a time traveler isn’t as glamorous as it sounds. Thoughts?

I’ve had similar issues recently. I ended up right-clicking the Office apps, going into Properties > Compatibility, and setting the mode to Windows 10 – which seemed to smooth things out a bit. Also make sure Office’s fully updated. Sometimes these small tweaks do the trick, though they’re a bit of a workaround. How’s it working on your end now?
